Wake up, go to work, sleep....

August 16th, 2003 (11:57 am)

I now have a new roomate. And the trouble has already started. Fortunetly the trouble is not with my roomate but with friends. I've now had two friends that have expressed a desire to cease phone conversations with me because of the fact that I have a female roomate. I've known both of these people for a while now and both are good friends. So this sudden restriction of our friendship is dumbfounding.

Anyway, I'm currently searching for a new job to replace my current one. I went up to the job service a few days ago and found out how much I wasn't getting paid at my current kitchen aid job. I know that even if I ask for a raise and get one I will still be making much less then if I just quit and find another. There is a new store coming into town and the starting pay is 7 something for the lowest postion. I know I'll get a job at this place so I'm filling out an application today and sending it in. Hopefully the job at the new job will not be as boring as my old one.

not sure if i should reply or not...

i'm not going to say anything about the first comment. i'm not in the mood to have a go-around with you.

but the second paragraph, i will respond to. i hope you get that job. what kind of place is it? you would be getting more hours, correct?

i hope you're enjoying your new life, good luck with it. not sure when things will go back to normal for the two of us. not sure if it ever will. but we'll see.

but for me for now, i will be remaining scarce.

So you have female roommate

What's the problem with that? As long as she's nice, respectful of your property and doesn't burn the place down, I don't have a problem. :p

If you don't get that job, I'd start to wonder.....
