Welcome to Osaka, now with kinky Japanese touriests ;).

Geocaching during the first day, had a blast making finds throughout Osaka.

The one food stop not counting Mr. Donut during the entire day, very good food.

Kujo lives here...I'm sure he's a nice doggy.

The day was mostly spent at Osaka Castle with a trip to the Aquarium in the late evening.

Will work on getting some more pictures up soon!

What are those balls sitting in your dessert?

I believe them to be Ohagi (Sweet rice balls), and the topping for the green tea ice cream isn't rasins like it looks, it is actually sweet beans.

If I find that I'm wrong about the rice balls I'll update this post.

^^ Cool. Are the rice balls filled with something?
(Risu knew they were sweet red beans...probably azuki.)

My mistake on the white balls, they are mochi balls, kinda like a marshmellow but not as sweet.

Hmmm...there are so many types of mochi (and many asian countries have their variations). It could be daifuku:

I'm pretty sure it was Mochi, there wasn't any filling in the balls.

Solid balls of squish then?
(Daifuku is a type of mochi.)
